Borja once again experienced one of the most action-packed weekends on its cultural calendar with the ninth edition of the Amante Festival, held from July 31 to August 2. The event brought together over 26 artists and distributed its programming between the main venue and various urban locations, taking music to the squares and streets of this town in the Zaragoza province.
Friday kicked off the main venue’s schedule with performances by Sopelana, Jordana B, Besmaya, Carlos Ares, Venturi, Bea Miau, and Parlotti. On Saturday, activities continued throughout the day with concerts at Campo del Toro, Plaza Santo Domingo, and Calle Mayor. Dorian, Delacueva, Embusteros, Sienna, Puño Dragón, Rafa Sánchez (from La Unión), and Barry B were among the names on a lineup that combined well-known artists with emerging acts and Aragonese talent. Sweet Drinkz brought the festival to a close on Sunday.

One of the hallmarks of the Amante Festival remains its direct connection to Borja. Unlike the format of large venues located far from town centers, much of the festival’s activity takes place within the urban area, fostering interaction between visitors, local residents, and audiences of all ages.
Thanks to the trust placed in them by the festival’s founders and creators—Miguel López, María Pablo, and Nacho Pardo—and the Borja City Council, Fluge Audiovisuales Zaragoza was responsible for supplying the sound, lighting, and video equipment for the main stage. The sound system featured a d&b P.A. setup comprising KSL8 and KSL12 cabinets, SL-SUB subwoofers, and D80 amplifiers, accompanied by a Yamaha CL5 at FOH and a DiGiCo Quantum 225 for monitors.

For lighting, the equipment used included 24 Cameo EVOS W7s, 16 CLF Poseidon Hybrids, and 12 SGM Q8s, controlled via a grandMA3 Full Size console. The video setup featured an 8 x 4-meter LED screen with a 4.8 mm pixel pitch, along with NovaStar processing.
