Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWMadrid) closed its 40th edition with a very positive outcome, transforming the city for a few days into an international showcase for fashion. For five days, from September 17 to 21, the capital became a creative epicenter with nearly 40 fashion shows spread across IFEMA, the Cibeles Palace, the Plaza Mayor, and iconic venues such as the Palace Hotel and the College of Architects.
One of the major new features was the return of the Bertha Benz Hall, completely renovated to host moving performances and inspiring talks on sustainability, trends, and craftsmanship. A Crafts Area was also launched in Cibelespacio, hosting sponsor activities and the EGO showroom, while Business Talks powered by Mastercard offered a forum for reflection on creativity, business, and the future of the sector.

On the runway, the debut of Silvia Tcherassi as an international guest and the return of Adolfo Domínguez marked the agenda, alongside established names such as Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Hannibal Laguna, Carolina Herrera, and Palomo Spain. Stylistic diversity was evident with proposals that ranged from the avant-garde experimentation of young designers at EGO to the reinterpreted tradition of historic brands.
The L’Oréal Paris Awards recognized Baro Lucas (Best Collection) and model África García, while the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award went to Guillermo Décimo. These awards reflect the balance between recognition and the promotion of new voices.
Supported by institutions and companies such as Mercedes-Benz, L’Oréal Paris, Inditex, and Iberia, this edition has reinforced its commitment to four strategic pillars: talent, industry, internationalization, and craftsmanship. “The collections and the staging have improved significantly,” said Asier Labarga, director of the catwalk show, who emphasized that the goal is to reposition Madrid on the international fashion scene.

Thanks to IFEMA Feria de Madrid, Fluge Audiovisuales was responsible for supplying the lighting equipment for the catwalk at IFEMA, the Galería de Cristal, the Hotel Palace, and the Sala Bertha Benz. To capture this impressive display, we break down the most notable fixtures on the IFEMA catwalk:
