Plaza de San Francisco shines again with its emblematic Christmas mapping, becoming once again one of the great attractions of the festivities in Seville. This audiovisual show, projected on the rear façade of the City Hall, offers images and videos designed exclusively for the occasion, showing the beauty and cultural wealth of the city.
This year’s program, under the management of Mayor José Luis Sanz, seeks to reaffirm Seville as a Christmas reference in Spain. Since its inauguration on the 30th of November, the projections have illuminated the nights of Seville with sets every half an hour, between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., allowing both tourists and locals to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

This mapping, created with the collaboration of the Urban Planning and Environment Department, stands out for its innovation and exclusivity, since each projected content has been created specifically for this edition. Although the technical deployment in Plaza de San Francisco has been smaller compared to other years, it has been compensated by the quality and uniqueness of the images. In addition, the show is complemented by a unique decoration that includes luminous motifs, such as angel wings that invite you to take photos and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.

Thanks to Elecfes Iluminaciones, the show’s producer, Fluge Audiovisuales was responsible for supplying the video and sound equipment for the correct operation of the mapping projected on the more than 60-meter long façade of the town hall, where Ibercover Studio was responsible for the video content. The equipment included 6 PANASONIC PT-RZ31K projectors, 2 Watchout media servers, 16 DAS Audio SARA 100 and 4 DAS Audio LARA-Sub.
