On March 6, the 14th edition of the Gaudí Awards took place at the National Art Museum of Catalonia, a gala characterized by the return to total attendance in person. This edition had a total of 1,300 guests, who met in the Oval Room of the museum. According to the Catalan Film Academy, the event included a renewal of the original formula marked by closeness, spectacle and informality, being more of a celebration than a traditional gala.

Since 2002, the Gaudí Awards have been an instrument for disseminating and promoting films of Catalan origin, as well as the best artists and technicians in the regional film industry. In this edition, women had a strong role, making female talent visible in the industry. Clara Roquet, winner of the Gaudí for Best Screenplay and best non-Catalan language film for Libertad, and Neus Ballús, winner of the Gaudí for best director and best film for Sis dies corrents, were undoubtedly the big winners of the night.
The gala was attended by political personalities from the Catalan sphere such as the President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta, the President of the Parliament, Laura Borrás, or the Mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau.

The awards took place in a spectacular staging that had a 360-degree stage that made the presenters and winners visible from all parts of the room.
Thanks to Acadèmia del Cinema Català entrustment, producer of the gala, Fluge Barcelona was in charge of supplying the audiovisual equipment and rigging installed in the National Art Museum of Catalonia, which featured lighting design by Xavi Costas. Among the equipment supplied, it is worth mentioning more than 60 d&b loudspeakers, 200 LED screen modules and 4.81 mm pitch and more than 170 lighting equipment, both robotic and conventional.
