During the conference between Tuesday 12TH and Saturday July 16TH, a new edition of the Vitoria Jazz Festival, celebrating its 40th anniversary, took place at the Mendizorrotza Sports Center. Taj Mahal, Joshua Redman, Jamie Cullum and Pat Metheny were among the artists who went through the stage and Cécile McLorin Salvant’s voice was incharge of the closure .
As every year, Fluge Audiovisuales was the company in charge of supplying the sound, lighting and video equipment of the sport center of Mendizorrotza, thanks to the trust of the Vitoria-Gazteiz Festival Association.
In addition, it provided the sound and microphone controls of the Main Theater. The sound equipment supplied by Fluge Audiovisuales was entirely Meyer Sound. The P.A. counted on 14 Mica, 6 700-HP, 6 Upa-1P for frontfill and 8 Melodie for outfill. In the control of F.O.H a Digico control table SD5 was used. The lighting equipment consisted of 20 Vari-lite VL3000 Spot, 8 Vari-lite VL2000 wash, 21 Robin 300, 5 CP Stage Profile Plus and 2 Robert Juliat Aramis 2500 guns, among other devices. For its part, the video material included 2 Panasonic Pt-DZ21K2 projectors, an HD realization control with 3 cameras and a simultaneous recording rack of 6 sources.
